- Type 8 individuals are reserved and tend to work best in an indoor
- work setting not requiring face-to-face interaction with large
- numbers of people. They can work for extended periods of time on
- projects and maintain good concentration. Numerous interruptions
- can be annoying, because it breaks their concentration and
- attention to detail. They do not make hasty decisions and find
- satisfaction in understanding the idea and purpose behind the job
- they are doing. They may find it difficult to remember names and
- faces but have a good memory for detail and facts. They sometimes
- finds it easier to express themselves in writing rather than
- verbalizing their feelings. They are very dependable and have
- sound judgment.

- On the job, Type 8 individual are the creative problem solvers.
- They enjoy new challenges and learning new skills but dislike
- performing the same routine tasks repeatedly. They work best
- during bursts of inspiration and have the ability to come to a
- conclusion quickly. They are very patient with complicated
- situations but sometimes make errors regarding specific facts.
- They have a tendency to follow their inspirations and intuition,
- good or bad. They have little desire to impress others and often
- underestimate their abilities.

- When working with fellow employees, they are firm-minded and
- analytical. They can function efficiently in a non-harmonious
- environment and can reprimand or fire people when necessary. They
- do not show much emotion and may hurt people's feelings without
- intending to. When being supervised, their primary concern is that
- they are being treated fairly.

- Type 8 individuals are very adaptable individuals who deal well
- with change and alterations to projects. They are at ease in most
- situations and are not easily frustrated when time pressures are a
- factor. They may become involved in several projects and find it
- difficult to complete them in a timely manner. They may complete
- the most interesting assignments first and postpone the more
- undesirable duties until last. Decision making is sometime
- difficult and a need for further information may characterize their
- style.
